As you may know, public high school sports are largely self-funded. The San Dieguito Union High School District pays for a head coach for each varsity and JV CIF team and bus transportation; each team also has access to the school facilities and trainer.

Teams raise funds to pay for a freshman coach, assistant coaches, uniforms, spirit wear, equipment, tournament entry fees, team meals, end of the season banquets, and coaches’ gifts. The Boys Volleyball Program has always relied on parent donations to cover these expenses, which enhance the athletic experience; historically we have been fortunate to have high levels of participation. Coaches do not see who has contributed, and donations do not impact player eligibility or participation. 

The contribution per athlete is $350 for Novice, $400 for JV players and $450 for Varsity players.
