Welcome to the 2023-24 Track & Field Season! Track & Field is typically the largest sport at LCC, with athletes competing in 18 events covering jumps, vaults, throws, hurdles, sprints and distance. No experience is necessary - everyone is welcome! If you're new to Track & Field, check out our "Track & Field 101" page for an overview of our program and answers to frequently asked questions.
Our 2024 season begins with our first day of practice on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024; there will also be a team registration check-in at 4 pm on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024. Be sure to have your athletic clearance completed before coming out to the first day of practice.
Our mandatory parent/guardian meeting is on Thursday, Feb. 8 from 6-8 pm in the LCC Learning Commons. Important information about team and season expectations will be covered; we ask that at least one parent/guardian per family attends.

Practice/meet absence notification request form
If an athlete knows they will need to miss a practice or a meet, click here to fill out this absence request Google form to notify Coach DJ. Your absence is not excused until Coach DJ responds. Also notify your event coach in person.
LCC Track & Field Calendar
Starting Feb. 5, all practices will run from 4-6 pm daily (unless otherwise noted) at the LCC track. Any events labeled "Invite Meet" are only for athletes who are chosen by the coaches to attend; the entire team does NOT attend Invite Meets. Ability to compete at Invite Meets is determined by performance; many invitational meets have qualifying standards that must be met before an athlete can compete at that particular meet. Speak to your event coach for more details.

LCC Athletic Clearance Now Open for 2023-24
LCC Athletic Clearance is open for 2024 Track & Field! Be sure to complete/update your athletic clearance at least 72 hours BEFORE you attend your first practice. Be sure to complete the transportation form as part of the clearance process as well!
